Meet Our Team

A True Team Approach

Our work is only made possible because of the incredible team that supports our daily efforts. Their passion for our program, our kids, and where we're headed is what makes Steve's Club possible. If you'd like to contact anyone on our team directly, we invite you to do so.

Steve Liberati, Executive Director

"I believe in the incredible opportunities that fitness can provide."

Steve started Steve's Club in Camden, NJ, with one goal in mind: to use his talents and resources to a make a difference in the world around him. Now through the Steve's Club National Program, Steve hopes to empower and support others as they take on the same rewarding challenge of starting a youth program in their own community.

Before starting Steve's Club, Steve was a personal trainer, studied Economics at the University of Delaware, was as a global loans specialist for Citigroup and worked several years for his father's pest control company where he learned the "real world" business skills needed to pursue his destiny as a social entrepreneur.  Steve is also the creator of PaleoKits (sold through Steve's Original) and the owner of CrossFit Tribe (which shares its space with Steve's Club).

Steve's strong passion for health and fitness, along with his desire to create positive change in the lives of disadvantaged teens across America has been the inspiration and driving force behind Steve's Club National Program.

Lee Knight, Program Director

"I'm amazed every day by the kids of Steve's Club."

Lee's strong background in management consulting and strategic planning has been a valuable asset in establishing and growing the National Program since its inception.  As Program Director, Lee handles many of the operational responsibilities and strategic projects to expand the National Program and better support the Local Clubs nation-wide.

She studied Mechanical Engineering at MIT, was a Senior Strategic Planning Analyst for Canon USA, and ran her own consulting/coaching firm.  Lee is also a former international-level rugby player, started CrossFit in 2008 at CF Fairfax, and qualified for the CrossFit Games (individual 2009, team 2010).

Lee knows the power of a program like Steve's Club, having been part of a similar youth gymnastics program in Queens, NY.  She is excited to combine her business expertise and athletic background to build an organization that strengthens America's youth through fitness, nutrition, and personal development.

Troy Willis, Membership Director

Troy Willis, Membership Director

"We've only just begun to spread the message of what we're doing."

Troy's talent for business development, coupled with his financial experience ranging from international to corporate finance, has been an integral part in helping create the Steve's Club National Program.  He is also the proud owner of his own CrossFit Affiliate, Cowboy CrossFit, in Roseburg, Oregon (which is also one of the first Local Clubs of the Steve's Club National Program).

Troy's goal in all of his endeavors is to make a difference in the world.  In addition to being involved with the National Program and Cowboy CrossFit, he helped to start a company in the field of green energy.  He is a graduate from Oregon State University in General Science with 9 years service in the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman.

On October 12, 2008 Troy lost a dear friend, Joseph "Jody" Daniel Brooks, who made a difference for teens all over the world with organized sports.  To honor Jody's cause Troy contacted Steve to talk about the dream of a national program where underserved youth of any socioeconomic background could join in the CrossFit movement and community.
