Interested in hosting Beat the Streets?

Anyone can host the fundraiser! Whether you're an existing Local Club in our network raising funds for your Club, or a gym that would like raise money for Steve's Club National Program to support our mission of bringing fitness, nutrition, and mentorship to at-risk and underserved youth in Local Steve's Clubs nationwide.  There's no cost and no minimum amount of fundraising required.

Most gyms will host on September 23-25, but you can schedule your event anytime through October 31.

You most likely fall in to one of three categories.  Here's how to get involved...

‘Official’ Local Steve's Clubs:

If you are an 'official' Local Club, it means that you have finished the National Program's ‘checklist’ and have been emailed an ‘official’ confirmation/Welcome Letter.

- All funds raised during Beat the Streets will go to your program. You can create your own fundraising page for online donations and/or accept donations at the door, and then deposit them directly in to your non-profit bank account. *You will be asked to provide Steve's Club National Program with a total dollar amount raised during Beat the Streets for financial reporting purposes, so please make sure to tally all donations.

- For helpful Beat the Streets event and marketing resources, such as an event flyer, logo, score sheet, tax deductible receipt (for donors that would like to claim their donation on their personal taxes), etc., download them from our website here.

In the process of becoming a Local Club:

If you have been working with us on becoming a Local Steve's Club, but have not yet finished with the National Program's ‘checklist’:

- You can still host Beat the Streets and raise money, but all donations must be sent to Steve's Club National Program. Collect cash or checks at the door, and one check with the sum of donations should be made out to ‘Steve’s Club National Program’ and sent to 7800 Airport Highway, c/o Leora Hafri, Pennsauken, NJ 08109. Do NOT send cash in the mail!

- Steve's Club National Program will hold the donations you raised for up to one year. If you do not become an ‘official’ Local Club within a year, the funds will go to the National Program's general fund.

- Once you complete the ‘checklist’ and become an ‘official’ Local Club you will be sent a check for the full amount of money you raised from Beat the Streets, and can then deposit it in to your non-profit bank account.

- If you’d like to do online fundraising for your Beat the Streets event, email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) and we can set up a donation page for you.

- For helpful Beat the Streets event and marketing resources, such as an event flyer, logo, score sheet, tax deductible receipt (for donors that would like to claim their donation on their personal taxes), etc., download them from our website here.

CrossFit affiliates and gyms that would like to support our mission:

You don't have to be an official CrossFit affiliate to host Beat the Streets. We welcome all gyms and individuals that would like to get involved.

- You can host a Beat the Streets fundraiser and all donations will go to Steve's Club National Program (unless you specify that you'd like the funds raised to go directly to one of our Local Steve's Clubs).

   

- Please let us know that you plan to host the fundraiser by emailing .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

Prizes:

If you plan to host Beat the Streets, you might consider awarding prizes to the top teams. There will not be national prizes awarded by the National Program.
