Danny

What are you most excited about with this opportunity to be on the Steve's Club National Team?

Well, first it's in California and I've always wanted to go there. Also, I'm getting a chance to work out in front of other people and going to be able to get to know other people who like CrossFit as much as I do. And of course I'm gonna give all I've got out there, and I like giving all I've got.

“Olympian Kendrick Farris believes in Steve’s Club” by Patrick Cummings of Again Faster

Posted on May 27, 2011 by Steve Liberati

Kendrick Farris, USA Weightlifting Olympian (2008, 2012 hopeful) and SCNP Ambassador, came all the way up from Shreveport, Louisiana, for our annual Steve's Club BEAT THE STREETS Fundraiser on May 14th, held at CF Tribe/Steve's Club Camden.

Kendrick, Austin Malleolo and James Hobart II (fellow SCNP Ambassadors and amazing CrossFitters), were keynote speakers at the event and spoke with the Steve's Club athletes (and the rest of the 120+ CrossFitters from local Affiliates) between the workout heats. They talked about how training has made a difference in their lives, how Steve's Club is an opportunity to be different from the crowd in a good way, and how it can help develop a strong body, mind, and spirit.

Most importantly, they were able to cheer on all 50 teams that did the BEAT THE STREETS Workout, including the 30+ Steve's Club athletes!

As the Steve's Club National Program, we're thankful for the support of so many amazing people in our local communities and in the broader CrossFit community.
